Auburn spans the valley floor and the hills above it, so the roofs change from one neighborhood to the next.
Auburn runs from the valley floor up to Lea Hill, West Hill and Lakeland Hills. Older ramblers sit near downtown, and newer two-story neighborhoods climb the hills. We install permanent lights on those rooflines after a free on-site measure. Association rules differ by neighborhood, so check yours before install day.
Valley streets near downtown often have single-story ramblers with long eaves. Lea Hill and Lakeland Hills add newer two-story fronts, attached garages and more peaks. We measure the run on each house instead of assuming one layout for the city.
Newer Auburn neighborhoods on the hills may have an association with rules about exterior changes. Older valley streets often do not. Ask yours before install day if you have one. We can describe the daytime channel. We do not decide the association's answer.
No consented install photo from Auburn is published yet. House numbers stay off this page until a homeowner agrees.
