Questions homeowners ask
How long do permanent lights last?
We do not publish our own lifespan promise. The manufacturer's published specs and product warranty cover the lights, separate from our installation.
Can you see the lights during the day?
Very little. The lights sit in a slim channel under the roof edge. The daytime view is mostly the roofline.
Do they hold up in Pacific Northwest rain and wind?
The systems we install are made for outdoor use. We mount them under the roof edge, out of direct runoff, and seal connections during the install.
Do I need HOA approval?
HOA rules vary, so check with your HOA before install. We can share photos and product details for your request. Approval is never something we promise.
Will this affect my roof or gutter warranty?
We mount to the fascia, trim or under the roof edge, not through the roofing. If you have a roof warranty, ask us and we will explain the mounting for your home.
What about power?
Most systems plug into an existing outdoor outlet. A new outlet or circuit is electrical work, and we refer that part to an electrician.
Can they be removed later?
Yes. The channel and lights can be removed. Ask us what that involves for your mounting type.
What can I control in the app?
Colors, patterns, brightness, effects, schedules and holiday scenes. Those are manufacturer features. We set the app up with you on install day.
